Confirmed Bookings

No booking shall be deemed to be confirmed until either full payment or a purchase order has been received. A purchase order will be by prior arrangement with Obiter Training Limited (“Obiter”) and only accepted from Government bodies

Cancellation

Obiter will endeavour to accommodate a change in delegate/s. However should you wish to cancel, it is our requirement that notice of cancellation is received in writing. Subject to when such notice is received by Obiter, the following cancellation charges will be applied;
Less than 1 week (7 Days) 100% of course fee;
More than 1 week (7 Days) 50% of course fee.
Notice of cancellation is deemed to be received in writing when received by recorded delivery post. Such notice is not accepted by email, telephone or fax.
Obiter reserves the right to cancel any seminar or course for whatever reason. Should this occur, a full refund will be offered to each delegate should an alternative date not be available at the time of the cancellation.

Seminars / Courses   

All seminars / courses arranged and organised by Obiter are designed to benefit the delegate in conjunction with any material or presentation that may be included. Any material should not be relied upon in its own regard as a legal authority. Neither obiter, nor its presenters are able to advise upon or comment in relation to any specific legal case or problem that a delegate may be advising upon.

Exclusions

Neither Obiter nor its presenters will be liable for any reason whatsoever for any breach of contract, loss (including goodwill, profits, anticipated profits, business, damage to reputation, expenses incurred by or owed to any third party) or damage or negligence whether occurring directly or indirectly caused to any person to organisation acting or relying upon any course material, presentation or opinion of any presenter or any omission from the course material, presentation or opinion of any presenter.

Loss or damage

By enrolling and attending any such seminar or course arranged by Obiter, the delegate hereby agrees to indemnify Obiter for any loss, damage or third party claim howsoever caused to the venue, other delegates or third parties as a result of their acts or omissions.
